Responsibilities:
What You’ll Be Doing
Key Player in month-end close process
Post monthly journal entries and accruals
Review general ledger
Preparation of monthly financial statements
Financial Statement Analysis
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Assists with compilation of monthly forecasts, annual budgeting process
Banking - processing electronic payments and monthly bank reconciliations
Prepares filing of sales tax returns and related tax forms and ensure timely payments
Processing and/or reviewing year-end tax forms (1099, 1042, W-2, 1094/1095)
Working with division/business leaders to enhance and improve their operations
Responsible for monitoring company credit cards
Assists corporate finance staff and other departments with accounting questions
Assists with internal and external audits
Compiles and researches information for variance reports
Adheres to Corporate Finance policies and procedures
Cross-trained in the absence of other Corporate Finance team members as needed
Maintain all contracts, licenses and renewals, including vendor management
Review and approve sales commissions
Report on KPI’s for departments
Qualifications:
What You Need for this Position
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business-related field required
3+ years of accounting experience
Knowledge of financial close, income audit, A/P and A/R accounting functions
Working knowledge of accounting and basic tax principles
Strong analytical skills
Ability to multi-task and work together as an integral part of the team
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Emphasis on confidentiality
