We have an incredibly diverse group of students whose reasons for enrolling with Pathways are too numerous to list.
Students who attend Vicksburg Pathways do all of their work online through our learning platform.
The students are required to attend our Learning Lab a minimum of one day a week, where they receive help from staff and certified teachers.
Relationships play a huge role in the success of our students.
VPHS is looking for someone special who would go the extra mile to help a student succeed rather than write an amazing lesson plan.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Working with students 1 on 1 or in small groups.
Maintain a small homeroom of 15-20 students and monitor their progress, attendance, etc.
Be the main point of contact for the parents/guardians of your homeroom students.
Attend weekly VPHS staff meetings to discuss each student’s progress.
WHO YOU ARE A passionate educator who prefers working through a difficult concept with a student, rather than lecturing to an entire class.
Someone who recognizes the importance of relationships before rigor.
A flexible, go with the flow attitude.
Willing to go the extra mile for a student.
