What You Will Do As our Project Manager, Business Development Integration, we are looking for an individual who: Has a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Can direct and motivate a multi-disciplinary team.
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Has experience in the medical device industry.
Has a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
Is familiar with the M&A process.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in either Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, as well as 4+ years of experience in project management.
This position is located in the Stryker Instruments Division PMO in Portage MI and is focused on delivering the Mergers & Acquisitions Business Development Design Integration into the Instruments Business Units new Product Development /Research & Development Portfolio.

Lead the project team in the development of the design integration project charter, planning sessions, workshops to gather requirements, risk and develop a project schedule to manage the project team through the integration execution that will achieve the deal model’s success criteria.
Partner with key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure strategic and operational alignment between functions, and activities to successfully lean the design integration projects.
Translate M&A objectives and value drivers into integration goals, plans and actions.
Identify and assess project risks and create supporting risk mitigation plans.
Meet with division and business unit project stakeholders to understand and refine project scope, review with manager for approval.
Create detailed Work Breakdown Structure.
Develop and manage the detailed project Gantt chart.
Analyze critical path and major workstreams.
Collaborate with supervisor and/or project PM to establish sub-project budget.
Monitor and maintain costs within budget.
Partner with project team to create project Quality Plans using 1-2 quality planning tools and techniques.
Monitor and maintain plans.
Develop a risk management plan for the project.
Identify, analyze and understand project risks, develop and monitor a risk response plan.
Estimate, acquire and assign project cross functional project team resources.
Define the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member.
Provide direct feedback to functional manager on performance reviews.
Develop a Stakeholder management plan for the project, based on the identification, analysis and understanding of Stakeholder expectations.
Develop and execute the communications management plan for project team and the needs of key stakeholders.
Assist in the identification and development of the continuous improvement of design integration process guide and tools to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
