Eaton’s IS VEH Functions division is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst.
This is a hybrid opportunity based at our Galesburg, MI location.
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible to provide planning, forecasting, accounting, and business support to Vehicle Group R&D Technology departments, in addition to supporting accounting activities associated with government contracts.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $80,300.

What you’ll do:
Coordinates the monthly forecast and annual profit plan by working collaboratively with department and government program leads to prepare their budgets and staffing plans.
Independently works to review budgets for consistency and completeness, analyze spending trends, identify risks and opportunities, prepare reporting, and lead financial presentations
Completes closing requirements including booking project-based journal entries, preparing month-end project spending and labor reports, reviewing materials/supply purchases and coordination of monthly external invoicing.
Prepares annual rates using yearly profit plan data to ensure proper project accounting including reviewing rates throughout the year to ensure on-going accurate project accounting.
Supports financial activities related to Vehicle Group cost type R&D contracts with the Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Defense (DOD).
Oversees Vehicle Group time keeping processes to ensure time is complete and correct, portfolio project classification audits, work instruction updates.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Accounting from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of accounting or finance experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
No relocation is being offered for this position.
Only candidates within a 50 mile radius of Galesburg, MI will be considered.
