This position is responsible for all cleaning and sanitation activities associated with employee/public common areas and assists with production floor sanitation activities while managing on-duty housekeeping staff.
Essential Duties:
Leads all day-to-day housekeeping activities and ensures all housekeeping standards are upheld
Leads and motivates a crew of housekeepers to accomplish tasks, also includes monthly one on one meetings
Acts as a subject matter expert for the brewery regarding industry best practices for cleaning and sanitation
Stocks, inventories, and procures janitorial supplies for housekeeping department use along with other departments when requested
Observes appearances and conditions of premises and equipment; notify managers concerning needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions
Upholds all policies and procedures according to handbook and department
Monitors staff attendance and performance through observation, feedback, and documentation to include annual reviews
Trains all new housekeeping coworkers
Other duties as assigned
Education/ Experience/Skills:
2+ years prior housekeeping experience
Advanced knowledge of floor finishing processes, cleaning chemicals, and housekeeping best practices in industrial and commercial operations.
Prior experience in a production environment
Strong attention to detail, ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards, and confidence to speak up and act when safety and quality are compromised
An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards.
A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
A deep awareness of the importance of sanitation in food and beverage processing environments.
A demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively.
Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position.
The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Starting Hourly Wage: $20.
