*Industrial distributor of mechanical products is seeking an individual to perform an inside sales leader/customer service role.
Candidate would be able to provide technical and product assistance to industrial accounts in order to generate new and repeat sales.
Emphasis on customer service, with the goal of building customer relationships*
1.
Responsible for processing orders from customers to maximize sales and profits.
Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to follow orders to completion by quoting inquiries, processing orders, procuring parts, and expediting shipment.
Complete quoting and order processes daily, focusing on prompt response time and viable solutions for each customer's needs.

Work with purchasing to expedite shipments from suppliers for past due material.
Inform customers of order status, if delayed.
Achieve delivery performance and freight recovery goals.
3.
Exceed annual training goals by participating in sales and branch meetings, vendor training, plant tours, seminars and training sessions, in order to improve knowledge of products, services, customers, and industries served.
4.
Perform additional duties as requested by management.

* Knowledge of and/or experience in industrial distribution
* Prior experience using ERP software
* Ability to understand technical products and apply them to industrial applications
* Strong relationship building skills
* Strong written and verbal communicaton

*Work Experience & Education*
* 1-3 years in sales/customer service capacity
· Associates degree preferred or comparable experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.
00 - $52,000.
